Jakarta Dept. of Tourism and Culture issues letter about tourism industry operating hours during fasting month this year. One of tourism industries, karaoke, is able to operate at night.
Karaoke and live music are able to operate from 8.30 PM to 1.30 AM
“Karaoke and live music are able to operate from 8.30 PM to 1.30 AM,” said Jeje Nurjaman, agency’s secretary, Wednesday (6/1).
Moreover, all tourism industries must close one day before fasting month, during fasting month, Eid ul Fitr, and one day after Eid ul Fitr. Those tourism industries are night club, discotheque, sauna, massage, and bar.
Violating Operational Hours, Tourism License Revoked“Billiard which is unite with those industries must be also closed,” he added.
According to him, billiard which is unite with karaoke and live music can operate from 8.30 PM to 1.30 AM, while single billiard area can open from 10 AM to 12 AM.
